C.L.O.W.N.S. Scrapstore

The Scrapstore links businesses with the community and makes use of clean, safe, re-usable waste which would otherwise be disposed of. The scrap is collected and sorted prior to being made available to groups and individuals for art and craft projects

In 2002, C.L.O.W.N.S. was fortunate to receive a grant of £3,500 from Wyvern Environmental Trust to help purchase a replacement van which is used partly for the collection and re-distribution of scrap materials to our user groups and individual members.

Membership of the Scrapstore costs £5.00 per annum and members pay £3 or £1.50 per tub of scrap.

We remove waste from businesses free of charge and provide positive publicity for those businesses by raising their profile regarding environmental issues.
